Met Dan, for a go @ the q; sadly, he had some sort of side stitch / tear pain that wouldn't go away. Walked him back, did the rest solo.
Had some fun w/ GPS this morning too. ;)
Bonus of the solo run: all the walk breaks, half the guilt!

Went out to meet Carl but unfortunately I abandoned the run after only a few minutes. Some unexpected stomach muscle issue made it painful to run and I knew I would be hurting myself more if I continued. I apologized to Carl for the "non-run" run, we walked back and I had a nice visit as always with him.
This has nothing to do with the non-run, but I had planned to write a note today to you all that I am discontinuing posting to Ndorfnz. Still running, just not posting. There are ZERO personal issues with the site or anyone. On the contrary, I have made wonderful friends here and I will always be eternally grateful to Gary for setting up the stage for this community. I have found myself lately coming to grips with a good balance in my life. I have been taking on more job responsibilities, I need to help my mom as needed for various things, and my twin hobbies of running and being a musician have been increasingly inconsistent at best. I have to get things straightened out. For NDORFNZ, I have felt that I was not contributing to the "group" as I would have liked...making minimal posts on my runs and not getting a chance to reply to others as I wanted to. It has just been a factor of myself being more busy at work that I can't monitor NDORFNZ as I had been. I hope to stay in touch with you all with runs, texts, races, etc... THANK YOU for your friendship!!!
