I was not planning on running long today. Woke up to snow. When I headed out it felt decent so I started adding miles here and there. I was still feeling good at 10 so I figured I would see if I could comfortably get 20. Got water at miles 7 and 17. Also did the run without any gels.

Shakeout run with a few on/offs. My Garmin went all goofy, so distance is an estimate.

LOVE this city and it is great to be back! Excited about the race, but the weather may be dicey. The predicted weather says it is pretty likely rain will be throughout the race...have to contend with this with high humidity and temps in the mid 60s. Whatever happens, I will strive to be positive and run smart.

Song of the day: "Be True" by Bruce Springsteen. A killer outtake from "The River", this song for me is "the one that got away".
