7:30 AM start to beat the heat and the storms expected this evening. 12+ mile Newton loop with extra side streets thrown in. Nasty blood blister on outside of right small toe. Maybe need to half-size up to 11.5 in the Nike Waffle Rivals? Hope not. Have 2 more pairs of these, and the rest of my feet fit ok. Maybe just cut a little opening at the side if need be? Already hot by the end of the run. Struggled up the hills last few miles.

Started Reverse EducatorZ, w/ smilEy and Macy; but, once again, wasn't feeling 14, so I parted ways w/ them in Walnut Grove, finishing solo through Z.

The breeze @ Z was sublime.

Road workout at Lake M. Small but good group this morning, including Gentleman John making his first visit to the lake.

Warm up 3.5 miles at home, 4.2 miles with Harvey around the lake. 20 x (1 min hard, 1 min jog recovery) around the lake solo in other direction. Cool down 4+ miles.

Refreshing cold water supplied by Curls was awesome! Short visit with Dave Conforto and family stopping by to say hi. Smoothie helped replenish on the ride home.
